As I look up into the moonlit sky
I think of all the times that drifted by,
Some how a time went on,
You decided it was time you were gone.

The gallant and bold pig gives a welcoming grunt,
He searches for food in such a useless hunt.
The lonely sheep wanders in search of new grass and juicy hay,
On her own she'll wander - day after day.
...

The dead leaves danced under the moonlight
Empty souls walked into the night.
A girl dressed in white stepped out,
My lips trembled as a I tried to shout.

A Broken Heart

As I look up into the moonlit sky
I think of all the times that drifted by,
Some how a time went on,
You decided it was time you were gone.
I just wanted us to be together,
You and I forever.
There's nothing left for me anymore
Since the day you walked through the door.
I feel a warm, motionless tear fall upon my cheek,
Now my future looks nothing but bleak.
I wanted to walk with you hand in hand
Along a beach with only sea and sand,
Now I want to ride for miles on horse back
On my own down a country track.
