The Sounds Of Music

This world is guided by music,
Directed by the gentle lilts and quavers
That whisper sweet sounds of greater things.
The entirety of nature joins in that
Choral collection of clashing crescendos:
The ocean adorned in a gown of glittering glamour
Proclaims the awesome power of God’s Almighty hand
In the thund’ring waves that crash upon the shore,
While sandy banks give way to the
Swelling strains of a silent estuary
Where dolphins arrayed in their silvery splendour
Dance in a chorus of praise.
A little stream meanders its way
Through the peaceful oasis of brilliantly coloured birds
Against the backdropp of a magnificent green
And bubbles contentedly towards the stark outback
Of swirling sand and red barren land,
Where dingoes attired in their golden greatness
Sing into the silvery softness of the shining moon,
And crickets in their orchestral wonder
Fill the night with the bliss of heavenly glory.
And as the first soft rays of dawn appear,
The wind rippling through a grassy dune,
Or whipping up sand against tender baby legs
Waltzes to the beauty of illustrious freedom,
And joins in with all of nature in that
Choral collection of clashing crescendos.
And, seated far above, directing His perfect plan,
The Maker calls the tunes.
