Scot Warren Poems
A penguin once wanted to fly So that he could swim in the sky. But try all he might He couldn’t gain flight,
alone in this world
Alone in this world And you don’t know why. Alone in this world You lie down and cry.
the empty vase
The empty vase, full of life, Sits eagerly on the table Made of glass.
Into the night within winter’s first snow It’s cold and dark, a spooky kind of night I’m left walking; there is no place to go In the cold and the dark I am in fright
My heart is so broken that there is no repair And you look at me like you don’t even care You will never know what you put me through You will live out your life with out any clue
a place to sleep - limerick
I wish that I had a bed. I sleep on the floor instead. It’s such a small place, With no room or space,
thanks for the dance
I held you close I held you tight Dancing with you Felt so right
_, == to the readers: Give Me Advice- - ...
If I asked you out And you said no Would you still be my friend? If I asked you out
two inspirational haikus
One can be anything One must put their mind to use Be strong and go far
I am a tree
In dirt I’m stuck, I am a tree Roots grown deep, I can’t break free In winter I’m left in the cold All alone with no one to hold
love is a one-way street
Love is a one-way street For me I’m always quick to give Never to receive
When he looked into your eyes He should have seen through the disguise And see all of those lies He now thinks and cries
Small and pure You are my own A suspended cloud In foggy dream
I try all I can to hold back this tear For my broken heart, there isn’t a cure You don’t want me and neither do I You won, I lost, no chance we could tie
