Sergio Correia Poems

Shadows of fear approach me.
Trembling emotions.
blurry vision.
My soul cries, hopelessness.
...

I am a bird but I can't fly.
My hunters clip my feathers.
And with them my freedom flew. No more blue sky
Open space, vastness

Shadows Erased

Shadows of fear approach me.
Trembling emotions.
blurry vision.
My soul cries, hopelessness.
Anxious for rest I woke up! I gaze at the sky.
Birds flying;
Wind with hands.
Moving fragile leaves
In a bubble dance. A rainbow of butterflies carries away my sorrow.
Top of a mountain what a great sight!
Sun shining today brings hope for tomorrow.
I contemplate the flying birds and a man made kite. I hear God's nature playing a happy melody.
Living running water falling from above.
And a river echoing peaceful songs for me.
It resembles mom singing in her love. I can see a bird father with wings of protection,
holding tide all his chicks warming them in his feathers.
It is a sign of love and also of affection. It is morning. I silently talk to God.
He whispers in my ear for you I care.
I show my unconditional love.
Contemplate all my wonder and away nightmare!
