Shagufta Miskeen Poems

This is hell
It's a whirlpool
This is an ugly affliction
This is the pain of a dancer wearing a pile
...

Presently! assuming you come, don't come to leave
Try not to come just, to show favors
I have put wishes on my eyelids
100 candles of trust's lit in the heart
...

Have you ever been to the hotel 'Rewards'?

Is it a very good menu?
...

The Eyes! tell all the things of the heart
The Eyes! wake up the beats

The magic of faces never works on the heart
...

Hell With Life, Hell After Life

This is hell
It's a whirlpool
This is an ugly affliction
This is the pain of a dancer wearing a pile
Which burns with hunger all day long
And every night she cools a new man
For cooling others
Hell with life
Hell after life
