After the Azkarah
There is Silence
...

LIKE DUST

Like dust
From dust to dust
...

There are poems that tear the soul
And leave us gasping for breath
They make us recall
Our losses in life
...

Nothing I do tells me the sadness I am
Like the poems I have not written
The love I have not had
The great life yearning beyond my hands
...

I walked to Shul as fast as I can
In order to run away from myself
Perhaps I would find there something else
Or some other part of myself
...

Nothing else can say what the music does
Who knows why such feeling comes so strongly?
And who knows what that feeling is?
Love? Longing? Poignancy beyond description?
...

WAKING

There are so many dreams no one ever realizes
We wake and try to understand where we are
...

The Evil too have Poetry/
They chant slogans of Hate/
They curse and call to Kill/
They celebrate and sing at the sight of dead children/
...

ONLY A POEM CAN SAVE ME

Only a poem can save me
Only a poem can take me home
