here i sit and ponder the injustice that has just occured.
i watch him exercise his rights the carted of without a word
was there truth to this?
aye!
...
fishing for love, never knowing what you'll get
fishing hard still nothing but you cant quit
catch some, through a few back
fry some up if they don't know how to act
...
Rising up from the ground
Standing on my own two feet
No longer needing u around
Im facing my defeat
...
then one day it faded black
all i wants the color back
as i am sitting lifless here
wanting to hear ur heart beat to show that your near
...
if i had a heart, id give it to you
if it was still one, instead of in two
but ill patch it up, sew it together
its yours to have for ever and ever
...
killing me killing me the end is approaching
killing me killing me the pain is encroaching
killing me killing me im fading faster
killing me killing me please save me master
...
death please come, death please come for me
please hear my crying plea
take me away with you
take me someplace new
...
i rock myself to sleep
i no longer cry i weep
what pain it brings me here and now
what good can sleep do me any how
...
i paid the piper, i let him win
this the only mending of my sin
for i am not sain havnt been for years
i laugh for hours but then rush to tears
...
laying awake all night
thinking of what was and what might
trying to find and answer, trying to see
why you would just have abandoned me
...
when your memory creeps it turns my heart cold
thinking of all the lies and promises you told
you thought id follow you thought id obey
thinking as you did just gave you away
...
just a sad soul who likes to let emotions go through art and poetry...young but i have an old and worn heart with tales to share..)
The First Amendment
here i sit and ponder the injustice that has just occured.
i watch him exercise his rights the carted of without a word
was there truth to this?
aye!
much truth indeed.
he was trying to help them, those in need
which is most of us i do dread to say.
for we just live our lives day to day
never knowing, never questioning our goverment
they gave and took away our first amendment...
I like your poems. They're good!
