One wish I pray to Come through
Perhaps a dream that could come to pass
I would spend each day with you
And hope that forever they would last

Sometimes its not the endings that hurt you
But the path in which they lie
Leaves you bewildered without a clue
Things, time and people faded away without a final goodbye
...

I dream of a life of peace
Wherein I can live a life of ease
Where there's no difference in being black or white
And everyone can walk the street anytime of night
...

Shattered and broken I was
Lonely and desolate too
Looked for answers but thought this ordeal was a must
Wish I was dreaming but it was too true
...

You made me smile and laughed when I wanted to cry
Made me come alive when I wanted to die
You made my heart smile instead of frown
Gosh you really turned my life upside down
...

I'm tearing down these walls
That contributed to my downfalls
I'm freeing myself out of this captivity
Visualising my goals, my life and this reality
...

In your time of trouble and despair
Fear not I will always be here
So tormented, can't eat or sleep
All you seek is peace but your heart weep
...

Let me tell you of a story
Of a girl who didn't know how to stop
She jumped every hurdle, no this wasn't dory
And from the bottom she rose to the very top
...

They came, and pretend they care
And your downfall they wish to share
They play tricks and say sweet things
And the joy their words often brings
...

God lead me to your holy place
Thats filled with mercy love and grace
Forgive me for the times i frowned
Let me lay before thy throne
