Love is an emotion felt for those often held so dear,
add a few words, an earnest tone, and whisper it in someone's ear.
The words will curl from the mouth and into the hearts of some,
who may not feel the same way and then the vivid colors of passion turn to dun.
...
Quietly I sit, waiting for the day,
For the ground to shake and release my wrath.
Quietly I watch, impatience at bay,
To bask in the carnage left by my path.
...
Although it cannot quite matter what is truly thought,
The pain has fought it's way to the surface now.
Your mutiny and ill-bred bearings weren't what I sought,
And our friendship lost at sea, I know not how.
...
I like to write poetry. I suppose if I didn't, I wouldn't. Simple enough.)
The Truth About Love
Love is an emotion felt for those often held so dear,
add a few words, an earnest tone, and whisper it in someone's ear.
The words will curl from the mouth and into the hearts of some,
who may not feel the same way and then the vivid colors of passion turn to dun.
Love has been described as a feeling of desire, fire, content,
however, I tell you now, that love does not derive from good intent.
Sadly as it seems, love cannot help from being quite addicting,
but for the sake of life and sanity, it's an addiction worth the kicking.
