Sirajali Kalima Poems

The hissings of mumbai
the bright colours of the city chimes
this motherland of mine
has many stories and tales that shines
...

Spread the love
may it be black and white
far and wide to a deserted sky
or to an ant crawling beneath the moonlight
...

contemplating of viisting the kaabah profounds
the excitment penetrates and circulates the weary mind
the heart listens and beats in emotional ecstasy
restless until the eyes sees the holy sanctuary, shedding deserving tears
...

Ecstatic it may seem
its venom hides within,
unprecious pebbles we are keen to pick
but really we're standing on the edge of the cliff,
...

i trail along behind the morning chirpy magpie
to liberate from the materialistic vice,
sturdily race up the alley of rocky green hill
horses galloping on bright daffodils,
...

unveil the curtain of peace
let it shine out to wipe out the world ills
purify the earth like our beloved prophet did
sending its scent to all the races, gender and creed
...

There was a man on the field
resting his head calmly on the trees rustic trunk,
didnt look too old or either too young
drumming his pale hand on the solid ground,
...

8.

Within the vast universe
multitude of cryptic stars
in a heavens ocean
dignified and distinguished
...

you smiled and your eyes were filled with tears
when you held me in your hand for the fist-time without fear
you breathed a warm sigh of relief
while gazing right into my immature eyes and thanking allah with your inner belief
...

10.

what if we all smiled to a total stranger
instead of walking past them if they were danger,
even smiled at those who hates us
perhaps thieir hearts would soften and they would embrace us,
...

snow falls delicately
from the heavens above
to wipe out the glooms
to illuminate the heart
...

tears of the innocence's
reluctantly, it flows for a reason
victims of oppression
cries for mercy and salvation
...

Radiant divine lights exhaling
from above the enigmatic heaven
igniting the faith which was lingering
replenishing the heart with wisdom
...

The moon sulks and envys
when earths stomach is filled habitually
to be garnish in wintry season
listening to carols from birds to wild beast and godly person
...

16.

Rain dribble drabbles softly on my face
feel the rain drops trickles down drenching my hair
the rains giggles - sings along with my vivid heart
the aroma, stimulates the jaded mind
...

17.

Rainbow colours been darken
in a world of confusion
question marks all around
no hope from the horizen
...

I was born and bred in west yorkshire, a town called Batley which is situated near leeds. My secondary school was Birkdale high school (1989/1994) in Dewsbury. I spent a lot of my time outdoor instead in classrooms, which resulted in dissapointing qualifications. My interest in poetry began in 2003 while i was living away from home in brighton, which inspired me to write poems about real life experiance, my grief and a vision of a peaceful world. Odyssey To India

The hissings of mumbai
the bright colours of the city chimes
this motherland of mine
has many stories and tales that shines

The buzzing streets of surat
buried with past secrets
people commemorate despite of their different lifes
all residing side by side

mango bazaar in valsad
designer clothes and bag shops
an orphan child close by
hiding his smile
i say 'a hundred rupee for you young man'
he modestly decorates his face with a fragile smile

an eerie - presence in taluka tala
a place of my ancient ancestors
village - folk congregates, as the daylight slowly become darkness
a spirited singing begger, illuminates the night with precious richness
