I looked outside one day, to see a long white car go by.
It made me remember a sad day, when a mother had to cry.

Perhaps, a compliment of our existence, and to a powerful reality
Perhaps, a definite reality
Perhaps, a complete reality
Perhaps, one that transacts the coming of eternity

Perhaps, four men went on a journey
Perhaps, three bodies returned from this venture
Perhaps, a message of awareness can be revealed

Mother's Pain

I looked outside one day, to see a long white car go by.
It made me remember a sad day, when a mother had to cry.

A time when a mother put her child to rest; she loved and cared
for him only wanting the best.

The tears of grief were on her face; the memory of the child
filled this space.

The place called church where everyone came to see; the last
remains of this child, that will no longer be.

The child prided himself on money and fame; he thought being a
drug dealer was only a game.

As the time came for his life to expire; did he bargain with
death and say "I was ready to retire?"

Did he say, "Lord have mercy on me?"
Did he say, "please take care of me?"

Did he hear his mother's cry; and ask the Lord, "can I say
goodbye?"

"Goodbye momma, I am set free; and this is the way that it must
be."
