with trees as tall as misery
panting along a stretch of land

now break this inanimate silence
ripe time to fracture a fallacy
show your expanse of mercy.

In this world we all are at loss
No corner left untouched by sorrow
Riveside, velvet bed or a lane narrow

A birdie’s life started
with a hope to fly high
stretching the wings tempted
her to measure the vast sky.
