Love & War

You have ripped me apart and taken off along with you, all of my stuff that you don't even need
I gave you everything, much much more than you needed
I left you spoiled
They may say that too much of anything, good or bad, is no good. They may even call it foolery, but I call it selflessness
You walked away, so far removed from the vagueness of your cheap words I held on to
In an ideal world, I would be the man
But as it is in love and war, all is not fair as we choose to believe
If using words to lead me to the truth was too hard a thing for you to do, then know that not saying anything at all was a death sentence
How I am so broken and sad, and when I think of it all, I get really mad
Because to you it meant nothing, but to me it meant feeding on your supplies
I followed your lead, and eventually, I believed I could stand on my own two feet and lead my own
I threw my cards on your table and along with them, my common sense and good advice
I did this too quickly
Please think of me as crazy and scandalous, because fairly speaking, I haven't given you much else reason to think otherwise
Hate me!
Curse at my very thoughts! !
Because it is easier for me to believe you feel this way
I live in my own world, where the rainbow isn't enough, where there are clouds in my coffee, where there is an end to every good thing and anything but my tears
So, thank you for proving again, the abundance of my limitless supplies
Go on, walk away and curse some more as this note concludes itself
Place that call and make an endless conversation on how you were stalked by the reckless 24yr old
Think of only yourself, as you have done all this time, and after this is done, pray to the moon and stars for selective amnesia, because you will be needing it
You have taken what you came here for, and more… and some more and what I take with me is a lesson.
A lesson learned!
I make no promises to contain personal sanity, but for now, this is enough for me to breathe.
