[message to the poet]

One important detail about myself as a poet is that I don't 'think' about writing a poem. When I write something, it doesn't come from the mind, but straight from the heart and soul. When writing, I don't think for hours on end trying to rhyme and fit everything together, I just start writing and in less than half an hour, I have a new poem. After writing a poem, because I am not thinking about it as I write, I go back and make minor revisions, but never anything major. more >>
