Midnight Thought

What a night...
Dark, cold and hopeless.
The night is my friend.
The moon is my muse.
Isn't she beautiful?
She captivates me with her special glow.
Though I'll never haver her on my own.
She's so far from my hands but,
She witnesses my pain.
During the night and when the moon is out,
I wonder what I'm really about...
Why am I so different?
Why is the world so cruel?
Will I ever be loved?
Will I have a cure?
Only the night knows my questions.
But the moon, as you see her so distant,
She has my answers.
Yes, what a night...
Dark cold, and hopeless.
