The South Wind

Blows the wind from the south,
A chill on the sighing loner,
Streamlined tears, for wind did shape,
Time another, embossed pain,
Cover did oblivion when engrossed were lovers,
Promised one the other eternal love,
Mistakes and Heedlessness- From it is man framed
He hurted her and kept away,
His love though like the never endin' waves,
Finally a day, trenched pain deep within her,
Enough separation, enough pain
She left him without a saying...
Two years since and you see him standing there
At the window sill watching her play
Repeating the words
'She told I neither loved nor cared,
Its not so my love,
Only destiny could not stare'
