like a road, and your in the lead

and I started to watch you walk away
but I shut my eyes
and let my mind take a picture

I wish I could find the words
and make you understand,
they could float like vapor
and like lace grab your hands

There’s a room in this tattered structure
Known as my heart.
The doors, bolted close.
The key lost in my doubts
...

As time g o e s,
These walls, they close
In on me, suffocating me.
But I’ll never be free
...

An endless cycle
fix my wounds, hold me up
make me fall into an abyssal love
break me down and when I'm shattered
...

Higher and higher I go,
until the bottom of this problem.
Drowning drowning as I travel up
becoming more and more engulfed
...

My beautiful let-down
You'll lead me to my beautiful breakdown
Do you love me more now?
I want to leave you, I want to leave this town
