My Beautiful Letdown Poem by Tiffani Williams

My Beautiful Letdown

My beautiful let-down
You'll lead me to my beautiful breakdown
Do you love me more now?
I want to leave you, I want to leave this town
Fictional tales keep me around

My flawed taste of perfection
you shatter my heart like glass
twist me like plastic
so evil, it's awful magic.
Do you adore me now?

Smile your smug grin as
tears swell up,
Fall down my cheeks
Do you love me this weak?

Is happiness in control,
hidden in pain?
Have I paid the toll?
Or is my tries in vain?
Do you grin thinking of my pain within.

My deadly completion
I could drown in deception
Would you save me if you could?
or would you though your head back in laughter
at the perfect disaster you've created

Laugh at the fact, i thought I mattered
Lead me to the path and when i finally break down.
Tell me dear, do you love me shattered?
