You placed jewelry upon me,
though plastic from your dolls.
Those days are my memories
and I treasure them all.
...
I Too Will Fall
You placed jewelry upon me,
though plastic from your dolls.
Those days are my memories
and I treasure them all.
So many years
have passed us bye.
Once in a while,
I get a tear in my eye.
When I think of your smile
when you were twirling in the yard,
those times are still heartfelt,
like your christmas cards.
Someday you will leave
to live out on your own.
Your adventure awaits you,
but don't forget your way home.
You are my daughter,
you are the meaning of my life.
I fear for your safety,
life's dangers are why.
I am your Father,
and I may stand tall,
but if you were to get hurt,
I too will fall.
