Come to me, lover, come to me.
The moon shall light our way
And the evening song
Shall be sung for us

I watch dust-devil's dance ballet
They leap and glide across the fields
They arabesque and pas de chats

Come To Me, Lover

Come to me, lover, come to me.
The moon shall light our way
And the evening song
Shall be sung for us
While I show my love at close of day. Come to me, lover, on wings of hope
Through storms of life,
And tears of night.
Come over all the hills and dales
And let me hold you tight. Let not the wind destroy my dream
And rob me of your smile.
But let my heartstrings sing
And the moonbeams whisper
And let my love take wing. Then despair shall vanish
And bliss shall take it's place
And love shall shine from my eyes
For all the world to see.
Come to me lover, come to me.
