Torn Apart Poems
Blessed with elegance and Right As pure as the beauty of twilight She made lifeless flowers bloom Her gentle touch put birds to flight
No matter how harsh The wind blows No matter how wild The wind goes.

Blessed with elegance and Right
As pure as the beauty of twilight
She made lifeless flowers bloom
Her gentle touch put birds to flight
Now trapped in the shadows of grief and gloom
Waiting to be relieved on the day of doom
Wasted are the pearls of her eyes
Longing to be escorted by a friend, a boon.
Shattered is her pride, her integrity
Crushed in the snare of servility
She lies down as her vision dies.
Alas! Is this the fate of humanity?
