So many questions to answer
Immersed amidst childish banter;
Awesome responsibility
To not betray child's trust in me;
To know just how I will explain
What is not simple and mundane;
Whatever I answer today,
Just a small stone paving the way
of the Journey the child must take. "I CAN'T SEE IT, SO IT CAN'T BE."
CHILD, IT'S SPIRITUALITY. You can't see it, but know it's there,
You look around, it's everywhere.
You feel but can't see summer's breeze
As it dances amidst the trees;
Leaf colors form a symphony,
Knowing why not necessary.
You see Heaven weep, teardrops flow,
But somewhere always a rainbow,
A haunting, mystical display;
You feel, but can't see each new day;
The magic of the birds in song,
Comfort that you are loved, belong,
that dark will pass, give way to light,
You know Tomorrow is in sight.
It's Faith, belief in Destiny;
It's Love you feel but cannot see;
It's feeling deep within your Soul
That makes you know that you are whole. YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE TO BELIEVE;
OMNIPOTENT, NEVER TO LEAVE,
LET IT ENCOMPASS AND SURROUND;
SPIRITUALITY'S BEEN FOUND.
