It penetrates the skin.
It forms tears of blood upon my arm.
The pain.

Slowly walking barefooted on the soft earth.
The grass slipping its way in between my toes.
The starlight glitters on the waves of the lakes cool water.
Silence surrounds me.

The lights are flashing and covering me.
The music sending vibrations through the floor and the air.
You can't help but dance.
A ocean of bodies surrounds me.

I gave pain to myself
just to see if you would care.
It doesn't matter anymore
since you're never there.
...

Expressionless faces on the people around me.
Wordless computers that completely surround me.
When people speak, nothing is said.
All I can do is imagine the words dancing in my head.
