Where have you been?
Can't you see us all?
The streets turned to blood
and there's nobody to call

Now we have dreams
don't make us dreamers
Just death and and fear
didn't you make us screamers?

Now true we're smiling but don't you see the sadness in our eyes?
Didn't you know how to control?
Can you see the children begging for happiness?
Is our history getting sold?

Are these your children of Iraq?
Do they deserve this tell me when will you come back?

I just hope you Return
Because now our history is burned
After all the pain is this what we earn?
and after all the tough years is this what we learned?

Where is your fearlessness?
Where is your strength?
And if ever a Iraqi man stood peerless
Will you watch him heartless?

Look at this thrown soul
as a young innocent man's blood flows out of his body
and his buried in the mud...

Is this our history?
Do you call this Victory?
Or do we still have to solve the mystery

They are jealous from our history
They just wish to destroy it clearly

WE HAVE BEEN RUNNING AFTER HOPE
BUT DEATH RUNS AFTER US WITH A HANGING ROPE

Now come is this the end?
is this Iraq?
don't make our dreams mend

We are tired of hiding behind the smile
Just hoping you will come back in a while

OUR SKULLS MELTED IN OUR FLESH
let us taste victory
COME BACK GALGAMISH
