O Adelaide.

These vast streets parrot the corridors of a vast madhouse,
Your elders bellow dumb slogans,
Aggreive your missing children and slain rent boys,
Your house breeds an easy cruelty,
Once, you fluttered your fate, now all bets are off.
Your jaundiced beams glimmer with ill,
Plunging the abyss with a hefty stone.
O Adelaide, the bleak.
