The Girl Across The Hall

I do not know when, what, where, how, or why
I’m drawn to her presence; like birds to the sky

I can not tell what is worse, being far away or by her side to stay
Love is a curse, which leaves one feeling opposite of okay

She is pretty, amazing, and wonderful too
I love her for all she can do

Lastly now, forever then, I would care for her wherever when
I will do what I can to at least be her friend

Though I love her more than she will ever know
My heart feels cold like the winter snow

Once I see her, my heart will beat faster
She is so far from perfect, but nothing will surpass her

Oh believe me that is not all
There is so much more to the girl across the hall
