Winter Blooming Poems

Hold me in the darkness..
Until we see the light seeping through..
Hold me at my weakest..
Until I'm ready to fight my battles..

I watch us through the window..
Floating in the blue ocean..
Dreaming, oozing bliss..
Radiating hope..
...

Like a river I flow, meandering, deciding my own course..
Like a wild wind, I have my own madness..
Intoxicating everything that I touch with my liveliness..
I'm my own person, full of vigour & dreams..
...

Holding a ray of hope, I carried in me a carnival of dreams..
A desire to fly, higher in the sky..
Holding the hope tighter in my palms..
Passion to go far beyond the stars..
...

Fearing the darkness, hiding, what do I do?
You walk the path, searching the light..
Owning the burden, carrying it..
You build inch by inch, fortifying..
...

Hope tucked in the center of darkness..
Dreams lie in the eye of hurricane..
Found peace in ripples..
Left in pieces..
...

It so heavy, choking me from inside..
No silver lining, while I watch the sun hide..
Even on the inside, I could feel the light die..
It's so heavy, weighing on me..
