Yousaf Raza Poems

To see the world filled with loathe
To find depravity with its horde
The pinching query reached my heart
To give me agony and no hope
...

While I strolled across the moonlit lane
I pondered the thing wistfully again

Perhaps tonight I’ll find the answer at last

The Best Poem Of Yousaf Raza

Where Is God? There Is God!

To see the world filled with loathe
To find depravity with its horde
The pinching query reached my heart
To give me agony and no hope
Where is God? Where is God?

I see a suffering child with trash
I see his starving face with gash
With nothing more he sells his blood
To get some food, to get some cash
Where is God? Where is God?

I see an infant going to grave
Whose joyous company parents crave
Death should take them they should go
Why an innocent whose so naïve
Where is God? Where is God?

I see a sinless person hanged
His spotless body beneath the sand
What is justice? What is law?
But only might is right on land
Where is God? Where is God?

Bloodshed, butchery, carnage, slaughter,
Are the rulers only cartel
With sordid thoughts they think perhaps
There is no decree here or hereafter
Where is God? Where is God?

But there is God, there must be one
Who cares for all and leaves no one
By giving power to every being
Discerns sagacity of everyone
There is God! There is God!

Those astute enact there deeds
Only for him and with no greed
To get the love of almighty one
They love people of every creed
There is God! There is God!

The needy one’s he leaves them be
To check their faith and let them see
That this short-lived world is brief
So they should pass their life with glee
There is God! There is God!

The mighty one’s are spared as well
To look for needy one’s as well
And opt the path that’s set for them
Which gives satisfaction averting hell
There is God! There is God!

He’s the master of life and death
He writes the fate of every breath
Whether an infant or an elder
Goes to pit on time with death
There is God! There is God!

So cling your faith and be sincere
For my good friend the hell is near
Here you mop your sins with tears
But fear and tears are useless there
There is God! There is God!
