Nature
The lone animal is chased,
blood is pumping,
Fast breaths with scents of fear,
and the trail is fresh.
The hopeful sun sinks to the horizon,
darkness upon earth.
The prey runs into the shade of trees,
but is not safe.
The beast's desire grows,
Sensing the fate of its victim.
Malice is the only path for survival.
Death is coming.
The animal screams as teeth rip into its flesh,
it convulses with pain, it cries for help.
No mercy,
no escape,
NATURE!
