Beloved India, let me light your glory in diya..
And set it floating in the tranquil waters with turbulent depths..
Frothing up tales of yonder ships and spices, opium and silk..
The flickering flame has flattering fables
...

Beneath the sly smile of a sliced moon,
Above the scorching summers subdued in sand,
I wander along a thousand dunes
In search of the calm, composed in your hand.
...

An ambiguous fate, a Herald's fault
turned off the dynamite
A new thought did ignite
a renaissance of burning light
...

Strangers who used to be friends

Nobodies who used to be somebodies.
...

In search of love…to be loved and to love…

For love is a power game too among other things giving rise to

They say that your hair is greying
But they are wrong, my love
For your face is the moon,
Your long dark hair is the night

In the instant throbbing between
Eternity and this moment,
A frozen fragment of time,
Breathes past and future.

Masquerade of changes waltzed in time,
Marquee of the world sang to the chime,
Monotony of a melancholic rhyme.

To India

Beloved India, let me light your glory in diya..
And set it floating in the tranquil waters with turbulent depths..
Frothing up tales of yonder ships and spices, opium and silk..
The flickering flame has flattering fables
Of deadly demons destroyed.
Glitters and gold, blisters and bold
Mysteries more and history told.
Diligent men with voices in swords
Elegant women hoisted in words
Warfare, welfare and well,
Fair and rare, a land like this.
Here, the sand of a red street is divine
But the hand in the bed sheet be vile.
"Four legs good, two legs bad" They preach
Four-legged food, the two -legged had.
The land has its share of crises too.
Gloating bullies and bloating bellies
Rotting away in haughty sully.
Poverty fastened to overt lies
Covert blasphemy of hovering flies
Playing politics and plotting poor tricks
Pestering the peace of the perpetual power.
With a past painted with pride
Stories of pain and gain
A hamsa that taught us ahimsa
Defying diffidence, Defining differences
We'llstand together for one more time
To know who we are..

My best of regards to the great poet in you. You are and shall remain the rarest of rare poets of my beloved My best of regards to the great poet in you. You are and shall remain the rarest of rare poets of my beloved country. As I was going through this poem of yours, both Swami Vivekananda and Yogi Sri Aurobindo flashed in my inner mind. Your poem has the flavour of ancient sages and modern most thinkers. I believe you read a lot on our ancient civilization.

Light and shadow lay intertwined on my body.Outside my window was a Sun who was lost in kissing the suprasternal notch of a scorching summer and climaxing into the wet monsoon..
