Anne Felicitas Poems

My muse rests on your lips.
Help me write again with your sweet kiss.
Let your mouth imbue me with inspiration
And arouse my imagination.

Two noses touching,
Two breaths mingling,
Warming each other’s lips,
Inhaling each other’s souls.

Your Body Is My Muse

My muse rests on your lips.
Help me write again with your sweet kiss.
Let your mouth imbue me with inspiration
And arouse my imagination.

I find my poetry amongst your golden curls.
I collect the words as I rake my fingers
Through your hair.

I find my poetry in your fiery
Eyes like flickering blue flames
Burning with lust.

I pluck the lines from your contours:
With my lips, I take them from the
Slope of your aquiline nose,
The plunge of your jaw,
The curve of your chin.

When you dive into me,
A dark and mysterious warm ocean,
The assonance and alliteration
Erupts from my parted lips.

The rhythm of my poem
Is the rhythm of your heartbeat.
We dance to its music,
Navel against navel.
The movement of your body
Will help me write my poetry.

Let our limbs entangle.
Let our bodies unite.
Let us make poetry
Beneath the pale moonlight.
