I get bored sometimes.
Inside this twisted mind of mine.
I'll stop, not listen, while the world turns full of mimes.
They'll draw me for a while, in gruesome, crazy lines.

That first time, the first time
I only wanted to try.
I just wanted a taste.
The first breath of smoke,

You remember there was such a time,
When disobeying was such a crime.
And now I'm all grown up, just like you wanted

Our God

They say our God is kind, and benevolent.
'He allows us to live, day by day
And when the perfect moment comes
He takes our breath away.'
But they never questioned,
Never wonder.
Why we fall in love, grow attached to
The people who's lives He's about to plunder.
We hate and loathe because we know how.
But when the 'perfect moment' comes,
And he takes them, he makes them bow.
Our world shakes, tears apart, the sky tips,
Turns upside down.
They say it's his will, and because
Of love, we must drown.
They never thought, 'We were not loved
And so we must die'
Our God is sick and twisted, says I.
Why did he make the little mouse?
Food and feast is all he serves
For the god's favored animals, the lions
And birds.
They don't listen, don't conclude
That the little mouse has no choice
But to become food.
It's only purpose, it's whole life, is to live,
And to live,
And to die.
Who's to say all our lives, we've been living
And living
For a lie?
