Ayla Tulip Poems

Out greatest love is prison.
We're so free when we're in chains:
Happy not to make decisions,
Happy to escape the change.
...

Five minutes to midnight with me at your door.
Five minutes to nothing.
Delightful the insight right into the core
Of moments that 'passing.
...

You can go to where you please -
East or west, or else. I swear,
Love is Good of wide release -
It will reach you anywhere.
...

4.

Tears, never seen and never known.
Tears, half awake and half asleep.
Tears, always grown, never shown.
Tears that are hard sometimes to keep.
...

Fine. Ok. Let's stop. Let's seize it.
Let us walk against the wind.
'Life is good now.' Really? Is it?
I can see that you have grinned.
...

Birds of feather
Flock together,
So let's flock
before it's late.
...

If someone there behind the sun
Once had me live my life all over,
I'd have invited everyone
To celebrate and not stayed sober.
...

Our dates are very short, and so they'll stay.
When dates are short, the breath of love is hotter.
At night I'll be remembering the shape
Of dear face, that's not to be forgotten.
...

I used to love you. I could say, however,
The glimpses of this love are still alive.
But let it bother you not now or ever.
To leave you without sadness I will strive.
...

What is there to do with people,
That are blind like just born cats?
Feed them, show them, lead them, teach them
How to use the feeling maps.
...

Adam and Eve were not in chase for hurry
And, living up in their Paradise,
Were leading life without empty worry,
Without fooling round needless ties.
...

Hush... Be silent for a bit.
Look into the core.
And in silence be complete.
Gently, say no more.

Our Greatest Love Is Prison

Out greatest love is prison.
We're so free when we're in chains:
Happy not to make decisions,
Happy to escape the change.

We are criminals for sure,
Stealing life from ourselves.
When we walk, we rush on tour
To escape the freedom bells.

What's a man, who's cutting ears,
Blinding eyes, while still asleep,
Not to see and not to hear,
Not to taste a single sip?

Stop the heart and burn on fire
Our very fingertips,
Not to feel the great desire
Burning somewhere on the lips.

Being so afraid to pilot,
Wrap ideas in a knot.
When we walk, we walk in twilight,
Hoping we can hide from God.

Tie ourselves to burning stakes,
We agree just with the pains;
Though the greatest of mistakes
Is devotion to the chains.
