Destiny chose me to fly the sky, since conception in the womb,
While nurtured by my mother’s breast, I had a duty to assume
For I have flown past heaven’s door, to places you’ve not seen,
Constantly lived my boyhood dreams, those places I have been,

Together we watched the blazing bronze sun, as it tried not to disappear,
for night was impatient to approach, with her starlit chandelier.

I dream of a land where I’ve never been,
A land yearning for their own chosen king,
In far-distant Scotland by me yet unseen,
And of the heartbreak wars always bring.

Many moonbeams joyfully danced on soft supple skin,
pale mottled images fluttering, from toes petite to chin,
inflamed passion lay latent until the view shown before
eager to relish rewards of her body and to then explore.

I dreamed fitfully throughout the darkened hours last night,
of our goodbyes earlier said, but her face never left my sight.

Crystal tears sparkled softly, and slid slowly down her face,

Forgotten glimpses surface, bringing words that rhyme,
Twenty summers ignored my garden lay lost in time.
A York-stone path flagged, crossed arrow straight,
Unswerving to an outside world, a world that lay in wait.
