hope moves man in finding his way and direction;
love keeps forgetting its existence and action
truth keeps circling the heart for its perception;

Life keeps moving on thro the doorway of time
sometimes ushering satisfaction and happiness
sometimes bringing trophies of pride and success
sometimes discarding friends who act as rivals
...
Never had this reflection
even in the deepest and lightest
of my imagination, ever occurred
that the name and memory

The exodus of the migrant workers
is so painful to see,
they had arrived in our towns and cities
to fulfill their daily needs of livelihood;

Christmas a time for joy and cheer
a time to rejoice the birth of Jesus;
making little mangers,
lighting up the Christmas trees,

Light up twenty one candles for us,
let every candle bear our name,
in every light of that candle
will glow our silenced dreams-

Let there be every reason to believe in tomorrow,
let there be every hope in the justice that you seek
let there be light in this darkness of time
but let there be a silent prayer upon your lips for George.

I have seen everything along my life's pathway
I have even seen the lightening and heard the roar of the thunder;
I have seen the mountains and fields everywhere on this earth
I have even seen the rivers and the lakes flowing along the valleys silently.

ask for everything that pride should dazzle you;

feel proud of me for writing those poems in a book for you;
feel proud that you are my friend in words
feel proud your eyes can read what I wrote;

I wish the earth could be as defiant as the moon
I wish it could not allow the moon to block the sunlight
I wish the darkness could not stand between for even an hour or less;

Those cities, those roads
our ancestors have lived and walked,
our forefathers have saved those huge trees
which stand so tall,

be a shepherd of love
if you have to be;
in your own house

LOVE NEVER DIES! What destiny writes for us, no pencil, no man, no law can erase. I have taught in Saudi Arabian International Schools SAIS at the Rahima Academy in Ras Tanura. I have also taught at the Model School and Oxford School in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. I am a teacher and a poet and I have got many awards as a teacher and as a poet. I have traveled the World and been to countries like U.S.A., U.K., Estonia, Finland, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Qatar, Kuwait, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, etc. I enjoy writing poetry as it is like what is art to an artist. It is very easy flowing and active in my mind. I do not have to make efforts to write it. It is a God given gift. Hence, I say what God wants to bless us with, no man can take it away. Aquarium Of Hope
Man moves with the wind assisting his respiration
hope moves man in finding his way and direction;
love keeps forgetting its existence and action
truth keeps circling the heart for its perception;
man plans and prays for momentum and motivation
but like a gold fish in an aquarium man feels isolation
when those whom he beckons lack redemption
and overturn their own jug of justice and rectification;
yet man keeps daring the future with determination
he overcomes all hurdles and storms with preparations;
and whether he wins or not the game of implementation
he never dissuades himself from his plans of objections;
he will run, he will chase until it is time for jubilation
and whether it is loss or gain, birth or burial as option,
man never fears to live, love or try new permutations;
for in the pursuit of victory there is never any limitation
when man is the gold fish swimming with noble inclination.

Hi Bernedita, Next week I am attending a fundraiser for a school charity in Nepal. The owner of the charity is a nepalese man who lives in Cairns, Australia. His brother was killed by the earthquake while taking some of the children to school. I thought I'd present a couple of poems and came across yours.
