Raindrops cascading
Downing my window as it pours,
Bored, I sit and watch
Longing for the sun to shine

During my walk today
I watched a man as he passed away
Such a ghastly scene, I see
Occurring in front of me

Dark pink petals gone
Beaten down by the strong rains
Liter the wet ground
Life's fragile beauty destroyed

Merrily she sings
For the joy it brings
Alone on the stage
Like a writer beginning a blank page
