I send up a wish
sending up a prayer
wanting you to know

I spread my wings
as i begin to fall
i think of everything
as the voices call

i keep trying
but i keep failing
wont u hold my hand
and lead me back to start

Falling further and further
Everything is dark
wanting to find myself
looking for my lost spark
...

how do i mend a broken heart
when all the pieces are shattered on the floor
how do i find my way back to start
when i lost my way back home
...

you promised you wouldnt leave
promised you would stay
but there you are
walking out the door
...

So lost
so confused
like a stray puppy
...

fly high
little bird
spread your wings
and fly
...

You keep pushing me closer and closer to the edge.
Feeling so numb that pain is my only friend.
You told me once that you would always be there,
but when I needed saving you just left.
...

No ones scared of the dark,
Even if they say they are.
they are just scared of whats in it.
Is that why you refuse to acknowledge the problems with in me.
