Brenda Harris Poems
She flew out of the sky, An angel in despair. Her wings had been broken, she crashed through the air.
A room off on its own, Laughing children, throwing stones, Teasing times, heartbreak chimes,
The Death of Innocence
Silently she sat there All torn apart and crushed Life filled with sorrow The burden had been too much
I asked the angel why had you fallen? He replied, because i wanted more. You had such a lovely life, why would you throw it out the door?
Angel of Mercy
Angel of mercy, please be with me. My hearts been all broken, and shattered you see.
Change of Heart
My fears took control Disaster was in the air I had no-where to run I was already there
A pill to set me free A pill to make me Me A pill to ease my pain
I think of you and all you went through And wonder where was I I wish I could say I was by your side all the way
A Clowns Smile
Through a clowns eyes I see He is not as happy as you may think. He smiles and laughs all awhile he cries and dies His tears are where no one can see, maybe just me.
What was once will never be Time has taken that away from me Life has moved forward true Now I am lost without you
Weary Souls Beware
Be still my mind The weariness might show Whatever you do Don’t let them know
Sadness within me It is seeping through my veins And engulfing my soul My eyes grow weary
Too much too little too late Alone went the mouse down past the gate Running as fast as he could Trying to find a place that was good
My mind is often muffled, confusion always near, everything's impossible, everything's unclear.

She flew out of the sky,
An angel in despair.
Her wings had been broken,
she crashed through the air.
She fell to the ground,
all torn up inside.
she was bruised and all battered,
but what was worse was her soul,
had been crushed,
and she had lost, all her pride.
She laid there silently,
all by herself,
Giving to no one now,
she could not,
even give to herself.
Waiting to die,
as she laid by my side.
I looked upon her face,
and asked her,
what is your name?
you should know me.
