Weary Souls Beware Poem by Brenda Harper

Weary Souls Beware

Rating: 4.0

Be still my mind
The weariness might show
Whatever you do
Don’t let them know
They feed upon the weak
Suck you dry till you turn to ash
They take from you your energy
And know you will not last
They feed upon your soul
Like an animal feed upon their pray
And laugh when they are full
At what an empty vessel they have made
