Brian Archibald Poems

The earth grows cold,
the sun begins to die,
and life is soon just fragments of the mind
The sky is falling,
...

Dusty translucent mist ridden skies,
tonight one of our men will die.
In a suit made of valor,
filled with the bodies of the men of our honor.
...

3.

Your my sweet sorrow,
reason to stay who I am.
A beautiful girl,
whom without I feel alone.
...

4.

Upon the fruit of truth, the solemn one will fall.
To be denied by the keepers, banished to an eternal sea of Fall.
Words unspoken, only wrote to be kept' secrets to me.
Unto you I share my words, for myself this day is closed again.
...

Sin & sorrow in the air,
people dying everywhere.
The promised land has fallen,
once again.
...

I've been,
gone away.
All while I,
sit & think.
...

I'm dedicated to perversion,
& when the night falls round' me.
I am your distant one,
I am your rain.
...

Without a true closure,
our love will never die.
Surpassing all my expectations,
our love will never die.
...

A white morning, the fogs roaming the air
Red throughout my eyes, I see nothing but white
Blue lights from above, cold wind chilling my insides
With everything I am, I will withstand
...

10.

Ascending into the promised lands,
how can I comprehend?
Anything I'd give,
to see my fallen loved ones again.
...

Addiction,
It's no superstition
When your life seems thrown away,
& you'd rather die than live another day.
...

12.

My life has gone, & passed me by. Criss-crossing from left to right, leaving me in the shallows, at times I feel disrupted, at others just looking for a new venue to stand on. I need a set of strings to hold me up, I need a smile to cheer me up. A bright shade of yellow to fill me in.

Everyday I long for more, good moments pass by. Love is filled in with just another blank. Your indrempting thoughts are threw down, your dreams stomped in the ground. Yellow dirt covering your eyes.
...

The beautiful eyes, of an angel
Rendering me breathless in the midst of the night
The sweet smile that melts my eyes
Forever grasping the hand, of an angel
...

I get so distracted.
When I can't figure out the thoughts of those around me.
When people see straight through you.
It makes you sit & wonder.

Armageddon

The earth grows cold,
the sun begins to die,
and life is soon just fragments of the mind
The sky is falling,
maelstroms are occurring,
and the image of destruction is embedded in our minds
To remember this is the end of days,
I will not forget,
retribution is as cold as the southern wind,
and from now until were departed life is cherished
From love to hate,
death to life,
curiosity to strife,
nothing can survive the order of life
We are our own Armageddon,
vindicated to please the fate,
doomed to eternal slumber,
at the end of the line
