The moon is shinning bright,

A hero is my brother,
Who is over in Iraq.
The only gift I want for Christmas,
Is for my brother to come back.

I feel so invisable,
Standing alone in a crowd.
No one is there to hear me,
When I cry aloud.

My world is dark and scary,
I am still a child deep inside.
I scream so no one hears me,
And I try to hide.

My world has changed,
I was fifteen and wanted to be free.
I almost lost it all,
Almost lost all of me.

I've given up too much,
For the promise you made to me of happiness.
I started out as a whole person,
And now I am one big mess.

The smoke swirls in an endless rays of light.
The darkness is lit by the stars in the night.
The clouds so dreary in a sky of blue.
Are countered by the snow so new.
