Vermin and critters, take your flight,
Giants of the soil, rise from the depths,
Sentients of darkness, where despair hath slept

In cradled slumber, fragile and small,
A child enters a world of wonder and awe.
Helpless and innocent, pure and serene,
Unaware of the chaos that lies in between.

I thread on autumn soil
Feeling the cold breeze
Without a sole on me
Skin white from autumn's sleaze

My little angel rests in his crib
My ray of sunshine in the darkness he is
While I wipe the food off his dib
Squawk! ! ! A little bluehead peeks

Your laugh so pretty
My being you amuse
I can't stand for too long
I'm falling for you

Greed, she's got a glint in her eyes so green,
Counting her riches, in a world so obscene.
Pride struts around with arrogance and grace,
Thinking she's the queen in this endless race.
