Elegy Of The Eight Legs Poem by Caleb Kanayo

Elegy Of The Eight Legs

It's falling
It's falling apart
I think I'm keeping it
Keeping, holding it together

But no
I lose, I am the fool
Now I'm losing everything
Everything!

Then I saw it
Its complex structure on the wall
Drifting through darkness's embrace
Apathetic to my perceptive eyes
Sucking the essence of its prize

Tapping the veins of its prey's existence
A gruesome symphony of destruction
Orchestrating like Wolfang A.M
And me watching by 2 am.
