I loved the earth and loved the sky
an innocent of times gone by
an infant to the world

They met in a bar
or some small town cafe
perhaps on the outskirts of downtown L.A.
they may have met walking

Come to me my sweet
a love so warm and tender
and nakedly we shall entwine
the warmth of true surrender

This here is a valentine
in case you didn't know
and I'm the fool who sent it
so it just goes to show

I found this site
and thought what's this
this could be poetic bliss
clicking through the words of sages
...

When you were lost
I helped show you the way
when you couldn't stand it
I taught you to pray
...

While sitting one day in my garden
writing things I'd like to say
a little girl of five or six
came asking if I'd like to play
...

If I gave my life's confession
and only had to write two lines
pondering my life's submissions
how could I explain my time
...

I saw her by the bus stop
and she glanced my way
she gave me such a pretty smile
it took my breath away
...

Seraphim of twilight time
drawing through the veil of shadows
whisper tales of love sublime
and what becomes of future morrows
...
