It is there God's Word accords
The Truth for all men to see.

Man's life is but a breath,
Could be gone in a second.
In sleep he could meet Death,
Where dreams go far beyond.

Your Grace has brought me this far,
Carried me through all my battles.
And I bear the many scars
The wounds gained in each hurdle.

The freshness of morning
Was the unique setting
For the music of birds,
With their melody, no words.

In my heart there is a scrapbook,
Some pictures of my treasured friends,
When I feel down, it's there I look
To feel their company again.

The torment is indescribable,
Physically hard to endure.
And to take it I may not be able,
What causes it, I'm not sure.

The fragrance of faded dreams
Kept in a suitcase of the Past,
Brings forth a soft sweetness it seems
Of memories in golden dust.
