It tears apart those left behind
Grief overwhelms and tears cannot quell
Anguish for the loss, it torments the mind.

When soldiers die in their own homeland
From the hands of the vile enemy within,
It's a tragedy that is so hard to understand
And the grief it brings so hard to take in.

Ask me, if you will -
About the governments that rule
Masked well but so inutile
All crooks and greedy fools!

Times of deception test our faith
And waves of corruption sway
The very truths of God they negate
We live in the vilest of days.

If Love be endless giving
As the blue sky above gives
Then there must be some emptying
Of me because I have to live.

Substance
Spiced words, meanings
Lined with graceful insight
Delights with a wondrous array
...

Time's saved excellently
By being transparent, unswerving
Straigthforward and say
...We want attention.
...

While double talk diverts
Hidden lines create a maze
This duo subverts meaning
Leaves us in a haze.
...

What is writing really about?
Certainly not popularity!
That is something we can do without-
If it comes, we take it, certainly!
