Damon Harper Poems
Rain of Love
My tender kisses caress your skin Lips twist to ice cold touches
I lay these words at her side, a meek offering Never seen and invisible they stand untouched Emotionless and brought unto a def ear From this point its grows into the infinite
My Lost Brother
A soul crushed by the unnoticed weight carried alone Withdrawn into the unspoken pain held within My lost brother did I fail you? Were the heartfelt words spoken insufficient?
Tonight inside this melt, black, filled with a million Tiny sweet and hot, dropping bits and of rain. Like her, the Moon Full howlin’ passions flame As beats of hearts pound in time till time again
Her Eyes Speak
Her eyes speak to me in words like ocean waves Crashing against, into, and through me A strength consistently and never ending Set beside, so stunning is her beauty within
Lifes Silent Dream
She silently entered my world, like in a dream/ Entering like a hushed tender wind/ A quiet kitten with a meow to melt the coldest of hearts/ At last, the hours passed like the blink of an eye/
What Today Brings
I pray for it to rain today as we kiss. We feel the small miracles dancing on our skin Our tears of joy join them as the roll down. Our hands holding each other tight and close.
Life has given me you, With the ciaos and adieus
Deep sweet hollow
As I find myself here now And the deep of her blue consumes me I permit myself that pleasure I allow myself to surrender
The gift of day took the night away Gradually and like a unwrapping gift
She stands / I Lay
As I lay exposed to the day, I feel that deep rest/ And my eyes begin to play with the joy of beholding/ Watching the sun search thru her golden hair / Like an electric fire, flamed by gentle winds/
Light and Shine
Now felt in my heart is this light you shine Is given to me in the darkest of times To leave with me the most precious of gifts My spirit climbs to carry, and lift
Screams of Wonder
The piercing screams of wonder only heard by hearts Communicates at first so slowly its message, to hopes corpse
As sudden as the change of seasons does grow my heart Rising beyond past now even my minds eye The tears fall not now of pain but from joy

Rain of Love
My tender kisses caress your skin
Lips twist to ice cold touches
Intimately followed by feelings
Like a blazing wind of passion
You follow my lead together we breathe
In thin smoke of loves smoldering embers.
Warms our hearts and sets our souls afire.
Together like colliding clouds we merge.
Taken as far as love will dare journey.
We build up to storm
Only to rain down together
On some fortunate new lovers.
