Play with the clouds like crazy fingers.
Allowing their flow unopposed and wild
Two cross to hope for what once was

The familiar place I find myself as I behold her
Caught between a space of now and then
Ever wondering the why and the how
For this moment I listen to her eyes speak to me

My heart like a stranger now unrecognized
Only heard but not felt
Taunts me still even now
Peaceful no longer the silence that once was

She finds the beauty as the beauty finds her.
Her eyes see the light: Her heart shines it.
The delicate things she does and sees
Brings her heart onto, and into it.

Just when you thought you figured it out. Something came along and blew it all up.

Then your left with a simple notion of what was there and where you wanted to be.

Wait, slow down.
I take in a deep breath, and hold it.

Further no more is my love from me
Near as my next breath her in my thoughts

The gift of day took the night away
Gradually and like a unwrapping gift

Stir my heart when she is near

Make it so I can’t breath

Sweet time took its way with me

Rewarding me with the countless riches
