in a strapping young world
full of promise and muse

Oh how these days they torment me,
my constant thought dwelling elsewhere
my eyes overted, yet nothing great be there,
i've felt this sadness only run so deep

you bicker with me
you bare your teeth
show me what you're going to eat
i sit here in this spinny chair,

these words won't flow through my veins.
i am not myself.
this world has changed me
i've lost the things worth holding onto

Hold up my man,
let us talk before we fight. And
i want to recommend
that we fight.

stars could float on high
the mighty sailors of the sky,
clouds could run on by
like children in the rye,

last night when i saw you live
on fifth and amsterdam

Grow from the vine
like all things very fine,
our bodies like like vineyards
are rich with flavor and promise

And here to honor those days
