and these eyes
seeing through all the black and white,

fast and bright
burning like thunder

Pushing away everything,
the final chasm before the mountain's edge
you find yourself bewildered
by the emptyness and melancholy,

sailing the seven seas
among the quickly dying
watching slowly as the world around
creeps into the darkness of

A Message in a bottle
lost, lost far at sea
the afternoon naps
and the lazy reactions

And so this is me saying goodbye
to the world i'm leaving behind,
i'm walking into the fire of my heart
and i'm not coming back

Listen to the radio one day
these pop artists i can't stand
may be the only ones who sing happy songs,
for anymore i feel

it was just raining
pourring and pourring,
yet my soul
saught free,

the air is clean
the sky's blue
marshmallow fluff clouds,
good ol' Hootie playin

i stopped dead
